Alentejo Regional Wine
Vitis Vinifera - Aragonez 45%, Alicante Bouschet 35% and Cabernet Sauvignon 20%
This wine was produced with grapes from the noble varieties originating exclusively from our vineyards. After a strict control of the grapes’ maturation in the vineyard, the date for the harvest of each grape variety was decided and the grapes were hand harvested and transported to the cellar in small 12-14 Kg boxes.
Fermented separately in our traditional stone winepresses with controlled temperature. After the malolactic fermentation it went through a short 4-month ageing period in French oak barrels, followed by a stage in the bottle.
Wine with an intense colour, ripe red fruit aroma and with a touch of spices. Smooth tannins on the palate, with a slight introduction of well-integrated wood. Lingering and pleasant finish.
PMay be consumed immediately, although it may benefit from a stage of 2 to 3 years in the bottle, as long as properly stored. Should be served at 17°C and, if possible, decanted. Considering that it has been slightly filtered, it may present some precipitate inside the bottle.
